### Job Summary
The position reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for new business development and client retention. Strong verbal communication and presentation skills are highly desired for this position. Our ideal candidate will be highly motivated, customer focused, and resilient. This position does require local travel, so the ability to meet with different decision makers and handle oneself in a professional manor is required.
Responsibilities
Initiate contact with commercial business by heavy phone prospecting especially during office days
Build and maintain lucrative relationships with assigned client base
Ability to manage a sales process from sourcing leads to close of the sales
Understand client needs and wants while educating them on market trends
Design, expand and implement supply side commodity purchasing strategies of electricity and natural gas contracts
Problem-solve and trouble-shoot client issues that arise
Follow-up with clients on a consistent basis
Retain client base while expanding client volume
Required Skills
Experience with Microsoft Office (proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word) & CRM
Superb communication and problem solving skills (a writing sample may be required)
Ability to organize and multi-task
Works well in high pressure situations
Ability to work in a growing fast paced environment
Pleasant and professional speaking voice
Customer focused attitude
Experience in the energy, telecom, or office supplies industry is a plus but not required
Experience and Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
A minimum of 2-5 years experience servicing and interfacing over the phone with C- Level Executives
