Communications Representative
Position SummaryThe Communications Representative is responsible for answering incoming calls in a timely manner and maintaining accurate flow of communications for multiple sites associated with Mid Coast - Parkview Health.
The operator also monitors emergency alarms throughout the hospital and medical office buildings and promptly dispatches in house emergency responders.
Back-up support will be provided to the Emergency Department Registration staff on a daily basis as needed.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
License/Certifications:
N/A.
Experience:
Minimum of one years' related experience as a switchboard operator or receptionist for medium to high volume office/Call Center preferred.
Experience in healthcare setting preferred.
Experience in customer relations required.
Accurate Data Entry required.
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft word, Access, and excel programs preferred.
Basic understanding of internet explorer and/or internet usage.
Recommended Skills Call Centers Communication Customer Relationship Management Data Entry Health Care Ms Access Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
